Plasma Pen – Fibroblasting
The Plasma Pen produces a tiny plasma flash by ionising the gases in the air to form PLASMA which then in turn creates a small electrical arc from the probe to the skin in a micro millimeter sized point.
The plasma produces an energy which then vaporizes in the immediate vicinity of the skin causing this tissue to contract.
PLASMA is formed by the ionisation of atmospheric gases to stimulate contraction and shorten the tissue fibres reducing the skin surface.
A typical session will last around 30 to 45 minutes, although patients are required to attend the appointment an hour prior to the actual procedure to have topical numbing cream applied to the area to be treated. Patients may experience swelling and mild discomfort in the treated area following your treatment and this may last up to three days. Crustations will usually resolve within 5-7 days. We will discuss your treatment and what you can expect during your consultation. Most people see noticeable results after the first treatment, although some may require more than one treatment and this is subject to your personal expectation. A bespoke treatment plan will be discussed with you during your initial consultation session.
The tip of the probe precisely directs the electrical arc to the skin in a small dot therefore it reduces the heat spreading across the rest of the skin. Plasma Pen has a finer probe to avoid this occurring unlike many other hand pieces on the market.
A series of tiny brown like dots are strategically placed to create the desired result to tighten and resurface the excess skin. The skin around the brown dot tightens and starts to pull the cells closer together.
Upper and lower eyes making this a Non- surgical Blepharoplasty procedure, deep smokers lines, excess skin around the eyes and neck.
The application of Plasma induces controlled trauma to the specific area leading to increased collagen production and a shrinking and tightening of the skin.
Its non invasive and you are able to see immediate results.
This will all depend on the individual and the area we are treating. We insist on a full and detailed consultation along with allergy testing for the numbing cream. Many people are more than happy with the results after the one session put others may decide on a further 2 or 3 sessions.
It completely depends on the client and the specific area(s) which have been treated and their natural rate of recovery. It is completely normal for areas such as the upper and lower eyes to be swollen and we DO NOT recommend applying makeup so to many people this may mean ‘downtime’.
